What is Show My Homework?

Show My Homework is an online homework calendar showing homework information, deadlines and attachments for students. From November 2015, all homework will be displayed online using Show My Homework. The benefits of the system for students are:

  • See all of your homework at the click of a button
  • A personalised experience to help you stay organised
  • All homework details are accessible 24/7, long after the school bell rings
  • Smartphone app available from Apple App Store and Google Play Store

  • Automatic due date reminders when using the mobile app

  • Translation into 50+ languages.

How does it work?

All teachers create and publish their homework online, on the school’s homework calendar. Students can manage submission of homework and view grades by clicking the SMHW icon in the top banner of the school website or visiting and entering your unique student PIN number sent to you in the paper letter detailing our Show My Homework launch. If you have not received this letter, or are new to the school, please contact the school the using the enquiry form or via telephone to have your PIN sent to you.

By logging in, you will see just the homework relevant to you. You can review submission times, see grades and communicate with teachers around specific assignments. Forgotten passwords are also no longer an excuse - you can check for any homework set on the whole-school homework calendar without ever having to log in!

There is also a Show My Homework app for parents and students to use on their smartphones; visit your app store and search for "Show My Homework", sign in with your unique PIN number and you can access homework details direct from your mobile device. If you use the mobile app, you can even receive automatic due date reminders to let you know when you have homework due to be handed in!

Show my homework

Show My Homework is an online tool for viewing and setting homework, and is used by staff, students and parents/carers.

Each child should receive an information sheet about getting started on Show My Homework, with a pin number for parents to also view what homework is being set.

Students must visit:, and login by clicking on the red g+ button and inputting the same email address and password they use for their school Gmail account.

Tip: We advise that your child logs in to their Gmail account in a separate tab before logging in to Show My Homework.

For parents, they need to visit and enter their pin code (which you will be able to find on the information sheet sent home with your child).

If you have not received this login information, please contact us at

Did you know that there is a Show My Homework app? You can download it by searching 'Show My Homework' on your phone's app store.

Supporting with Homework

If your child is finding homework difficult, encourage them to give it a go even if they don’t think they are getting it right. Making mistakes often leads to better understanding.

If they are getting very upset, tell them to stop. Attempting to carry on will only increase anxiety. Please write a note or email the class teacher to ensure that they can support them with this piece of work.

Skipping homework should not become a regular event. Please be aware that children can be very good at finding excuses that might have been true, yet if you hear the same excuse regularly you may wish to question them!

Homework Club

We run a homework club for our students every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 2.55 - 3.55pm in the school library.
